Reframing Shock Physiology | Sara Crager

A talk by Sara Crager from TBS24

Intro

A talk by Sara Crager at the TBS24 conference in Zermatt. Kindly shared with permission.
See the TBS24 landing page for the programme and full set of talks.

Synopsis

Trying to stuff our patients into one of the traditional categories of circulatory shock can limit our ability to develop effective management strategies for our complex shock patients. This talk will present a mental model designed to facilitate a more nuanced understanding of shock physiology, while simultaneously providing a framework for real time clinical problem solving.
